Look What's Hanging on Our Wall

I don't want to do homework. Instead I want to blog about things that are hanging on our wall. I love our little condo and wanted to share with you a little munch of what's hanging around here.
This is our beautiful entrance wall. Still needs a few more pictures to occupy the frames.

Yes our spiderman bank, our children's savings are in there. Also notice the huge 100 oz. mug. Good story behind how I got that. Yes, I'll tell you.

I get a call one day from a guy who said I'd won a prize from a Maverick online contest. I didn't remember entering a contest but I didn't care; I won! He said he'd bring it to me at work. Later, a man came by the office with his huge mug. I was so excited when I went back to my apartment to tell Ben about the FREE thing I got. Once I told Ben, he just chuckled. I asked him why he was laughing. He then told me that he had found the free mug on craigslist, for FREE (go figure). Ben asked the guy to pretend with me that I had won a contest. I fell for it. I thought I was a big mug winner. The mug has been a faithful traveler with us and THANK YOU mug for never leaving us thirsty. Note we only fill it with water. No soda in that thing, we'd die.

This may be my favorite wall! One of our FHE creations. Notice how I look like a giraffe and Ben looks like a hunchback.

Hawaii!! I love the beach and this picture is an original. I took it (or maybe one of my friends did that I went with, but I like to claim the beauty)

Our HUGE canvas from our wedding in the bedroom.

Last but not least the Fox Card! Ben got this card for his birthday from "Chet" who's in Korea and handwriting looks a lot like my mom's. (My mom plays Chet on all holidays.) I'm sure if Chet were here we would have chosen this same card, good choice mom.

I liked the card so much I decided to make use of our empty frame. Fox now leaves us with a comforting feeling when we leave the house. BYE!

SURVIVOR

Watch it. TONIGHT 8 o'clock CBS. The 1,387 season (aka Season 22) is starting up again. Ever since I married Ben I have become addicted. Last season was in Samoa and Russel kept me watching each week. I never knew what he was going to pull, finding immunity idols without clues not once, but twice. Burning socks and dumping out people's canteens in the night, he was a villain.

This season is Heroes vs. Villains and Russel is back. I'm sure they will be getting rid of him quick, but I can't wait to see the other contestants. You really should watch it then Ben and I can talk to other people about survivor. Most people watched the 1st season back in 2000 but I'm telling you take a blast back to your past, it will be fun! I have learned some great survival skills too, it's educational!

What happens in Vegas?....

...I'll show you.

We got to go see KA performed by Cirque du Soleil in the MGM Grand hotel! It was one of the best shows (besides Celine Dion) that I have seen. Ben said it was one of the weirdest things he'd ever seen, but also the coolest show he'd ever seen. If you get a chance to see it we recommend it.

Ben's work got everyone tickets to see Frank Caliendo. He's good at doing impersonations. His Charles Barkley was my favorite.

We went to Lets Make a Deal (not to be confused with Deal or No Deal). Wayne Brady is the host and it's Halloween on the show every day. Everyone was dressed crazy. My favorite costume was a kid dressed as a laundry basket. He had a laundry basket around his waist, with different items of clothing sewed onto his shirt and underwear on top of his head. He was one of the lucky people to get chosen to come up and play a game and won $3000!! I was right next to where all the games were played. I could have touched Wayne Brady at least 6 times.

Ben and I thought that for sure I was going to get chosen but it never happened. ah, someday. Instead Ben decided to play his guitar.

(P.S. I had this costume before the girl on American Idol, it was 90% off after Halloween $6.99 baby)

Snow Couple Update

They were literally a hit! The first way was when we looked out our front window and saw this.

Next years Christmas card picture? Our neighbors were taking pictures with their dogs.

The second way they were a hit....

It was bound to happen, we live on a busy street. When I saw they were knocked over Ben wanted to go outside and finish the job. So he did a couple of round kicks on them and was satisfied.

I'm going to erase this part of the story in my mind and only have the best of memories about our snow couple!
